The 33-year-old Cornwall man, a former Cedar Crest Middle School social-studies teacher, has been arrested and charged with various offenses related to a sexual relationship police say he was carrying on with a girl beginning when she was 13 and in seventh grade.
Fleming has been accused of having inappropriate contact with the girl in a laundry list of locations, including his home, her father’s house, her mother’s house, the school and the woods behind the school. He is also accused of convincing the girl, who was raised a Christian, to become an atheist, police said.
